Its been a minute, but I am still here. I thought I would do a post on a sort-of adventure that I went on a little while back.
Right now I'm back in school, and back on the archit(orture)ecture grind. Our current project is based on a place we went to in the middle of the desert in Northern California on your was to Las Vegas. Its known as Zzyzx. Look up a definition of the middle of nowhere, and this is what you'll find. Nevertheless, there was a lot of beauty to be found there, if you are willing to look closely... Here, let me show you:

You may think most of the pictures are 'just dirt', and yes, it is - essentially - dirt. But when you look at things closely, you find all the beautiful intricacies that make up that dirt, and it becomes more than that. Its beauty. Its design. Its art.
